Three warrior Eardleys in UK special forces

I thought we should recognise these young men who died in action as members of UK elite forces. Not surprisingly they were all brought up in Stoke on trent. There must be many living persons who can be related to them, who could comment on the message board. I have a high regard for the men of the Chindits who fought behind Japanese lines in Burma from 1943, as one of my great uncles was there for a couple of years, but suffered everafter with bad malaria. Not forgetting the other 44 Commonwealth Eardleys who died in the two world wars. Even one of the Canadians had parents in Fenton, Stoke on Trent. Details of all these Eardleys can be found on the CWGC website.
There are also the possibly related two Merrill's Marauders in Burma - Willard Yardley and William Yardley (milan, missouri), who could be traced back to the Yardleys of Pennsylvania.
