My grandfather's brother went to Australia, and Malcolm was one of his grandchildren. His three sisters, Margaret Airoldi, Jocelyn McGrath and Cecily Wilson came to the grand Eardley Event in July 2000. Malcolm died some years ago, and his twin sister Judith, who had lived for years in London and was a great friend of mine as well as a second cousin, also died young, tragically. There is also an older brother, Peter. We all came down from the Edward Eardley of Eardley Hall connection, via Samson Gideon who changed his name to his wife's, Eardley. Though the reference books would have it otherwise, SG had a grandson with the name of Eardley, our g-g-grandfather.
