Eardley as a first name

Hi:

My great grandfather was Eardley George Morgan born 1873 in Wiltshire. Most of his ancestors came from the Bath, Somerset or Hemyock, Devon areas. Other surnames associated with the family include Maggs, Griffith, Manley & Scadding.

I wondered if anyone's research on Eardleys includes one or more of these surnames as my thought is that Eardley Morgan's first name is from ancestors with the surname Eardley.

Can someone help in any way ?
