Hi This is a great Forum for the Eardley's .My name is Godfrey Eardley and I live in St Peters Missouri USA and have been researching my Eardley Roots for several years . I have come to a stop with Samuel and Ellen Cooper in 1761 . They were married in the church at Wolstanton and there banns say that He was from Keele and she was from this parish . I have been able to find from them back to myself , With the help of nice people from England . Samuel and Ellen had several children of which William b. 1771 was my 4th GG . William married Margret Grocott 1794 at Burslem . They had five children and Charles b. 1799 was my 3rd GG . He married Sara Noden in 1819 and they had six children . Of them William b. 1821 was my 2nd GG . William married Martha Handley in 1842 at Burslem and they had Seven Children . William b. 1846 was my GG grandfather . He married Theodosia Keen in 1869 at Hartshill church . They came to this country in Aug 1872 and settled at Trenton New Jersey . They has two children Mary born at Burslem and Harry who was born in Trenton NJ . I would like to see if there is any other people that read this Forum of this line ? Also any help with my road block at Samuel and Ellen would be greatly appreciated . Wold also love to hear from any other Eardley.
