Having at last "found" the new bulletin board thought I'd retry my luck with a message.

I have traced my EARDLEY antecedants back to

Richard (1801-84) & Hannah (1803-63; nee unknown) EARDLEY

and their children:

William (1827-1903) m Sarah POPE 1849 Richard (1833-1901) m Elizabeth Edna HANCOCK 1859 Benjamin (b.c. 1835) m Jane (nee unknown) 1857

William & Sarah had several children, some died young but at least seven survived into adulthood:

Elizabeth b.c. 1856

m Edmund SHERRATT in 1886

Richard Pope b.c. 1854

m. Mary Elizabeth THOMAS (d. 1905)

m Elizabeth Annie ? (c1905-15)

Henry b.c. 1860

m Elizabeth LEES in 1883

Sarah b.c. 1861

m. Arthur SHERRATT in 1902

John b.c 1857

William b.c. 1864

Hannah Mary b.c. 1866

m. L. Leonard FARR in 1932

I am a descendant of Henry EARDLEY who married Elizabeth LEES (daughter of John LEES, a potter).

All are of TUNSTALL or The Potteries in general.
