It appears to me that you have done a fanastic background check. I wish that I had that much information when I started in 1995. All I knew was my grandfather's name Elijah and grandmother's name Annie Hilditch. The amount of information you have is enormous. It would be very easy for me to trace your family based on that information you have shared with all of us on the message board. It would only take time. I am certain that there are Eardleys who will eventually recognize those names. The Stafford Record Office should be able to help. Have you been there ? In one of my previous letters I suggested how one could go about tracing one's family and with all the information you have it seems it would not be to difficult.Have you looked at the marriage lists on this website? The marriage license of Edith Eardley Hopkins.The birth certificate as well would lead one well on the tract.
