Wilmot-Eardley connection

Hi all, I am a Wilmot descendant on my mother's side. My motheris Georgiana Wilmot Weldon(1931), her father was Edwin Guernsey Wilmot(1902-1968). He had a sister named Dorothy EARDLEY Wilmot(1892-1983), their father was Frank Ashley Wilmot(1865-1915), his father was Samuel Russell Wilmot (182?-1897) who immigrated with his mother, Elizabeth and his brothers and sister, and his father was Dr. Robert Wilmot,M.D., a prominent brain doctor of the time. I would like to discover how the EARDLEY family became a part of the Wilmot family. It seems to appear rather regularly in other branches of the Wilmot family. Any genealogical info would be much appreciated.
