Happy holidays to all

Here in the States, the holiday frenzy has set in. So I wanted to wish all the Eardleys a peaceful holiday season - before I got too busy!

The U.S. Treasury has been issuing quarters (25 cent coins) in the order the 13 original colonies ratified the Constitution. The Virginia coin was just released. It notes that Jamestown will be celebrating its Quadricentennial in 2007. Given the interest in Sir George Yeardley, I thought I should mention this. Perhaps we shouldn't wait over 6 more years to get together in Virginia?

In any case, we hope to continue to govern ourselves, if the situation in Florida is ever resolved! Happy New Year to all - Linda Eardley Hollis
