Dear Betty: I have researched many Eardley families from Columbiana County, East Liverpool, Ohio who came from England. Most of them worked in the potteries here. If you could get a copy of your father's death certificate it will give his place of birth and the name of his parents. From that you may be able to check old city directories in East Liverpool at the Carnegie Library here.There were Eardley families in Sebring, Ohio and East Palestine, Ohio too. Hope this is of help to you.
