Hi Jack and all, Was just wondering what the weather will be like for the get together in July. This is a great way to keep in touch so keep up the good work... Will try to be there to help with the celebration. To answer your question about the Yardley Cosmetic Co. I have done some research and found that there was a Wm Yardley and a partner named Beedal (who was a steel buckle maker). This was from a book "The House of Yardley 1770-1953 by E. Wynne Thomas. There were no Yardleys or Eardleys in the start up of the Co. in the US. The book was very interesting ,but I don't feel there is a direct connection. Thanks for this new message board.
