Eliane, Check marriage certificate 152 28 Feb 1942, and 444 27 Jul 1884. Frederick's dad, William Eardley is interesting in that he ran the Green Tavern in Upper Green, Newcastle, Staffs from 1818 - 1851, (Although he may have moved to the White Horse, Penkhull Street, Newcastle, for a short time in the 1830's. You may get photo of the Green Tavern from Newcastle Museum, The Brampton, Newcastle, Staffs, it depends on when it was demolished.
