I am the son of Lillian(Lily) May Roberts nee Eardley. born 16th September 1942 in Peckham S.E. London England. The youngest of seven children. I was given my mothers maiden name to perpetuate the name as her brothers were killed in the Great War.I have pictures and letters from my past. My brother John has compiled a book dictated by my mother about her life from 1900. I will endeavour to send you a copy if possible. It contains many old photos of my relatives including my mothers brothers etc. There is also letters written from the front line from comrades who were present when they died. I hope to keep in touch later.

My mother passed away 1997 aged 98 years old. Her sister Maud died recently. She married George Snow and lived in New Cross South London. My grandmother lived in Verney Road Peckham London and was housebound. She died in a house fire and was mentioned in the newspapers of which I have a copy.
