Hello Jack The Eardley day in Audley is one that i will cherish forever. The service along with the hymns caused much family memory emotion for me and others that I talked to. The next day I walked to Wood Lane and the other villages in that vacinity. I know I was walking in the foot steps of my grandfather,Edward Eardley, on the same paths that he walked and those before him. On Monday I traveled by bus to Stafford and found more facts about my family. All in all I had a great time and fullfilled my mission. I do feel that I will go back. The local people were very friendly and helpfull and most of them were sure aware of The Eardley Gathering. The radio apparently is well listned to. Thank you Jack Eardley and all of your helpers for a wonderfull experience.
