Dear Members of A.F.H.S.

Thank you all so much for your much appreciated contributions to our Eardley reunion. It was a wonderful day and one we will always remember. It was a very strange and moving experience to be with so many other Eardleys in Audley church. I was very sad that my father could not have shared it with my brother, Fred, and I. He came from Audley and so did his ancestors so it was all very poignant and meaningful for us.

I have ordered a t-shirt and bought a bottle of ale which I shall keep as a memento!

Thanks again for everything you did.

Incidentally Fred and I thanked Jack personally so I perhaps don't need to do it here but if you are reading this Jack - thanks a million. What a wonderful idea and such commitment to actually bring it off. I shall keep watching the website.
