It is with the deepest regret that I have to announce that Roger Bennett has passed away.
One of the foremost Eardley Family historians and contributor to this site, he will be sorely missed.

If ever you needed confirmation of a fact or advice on local, family or indeed military history (a subject in which he is published) Roger was the man to turn to.
