The Battle of Blore Heath was the first significant encounter of the Wars of the Roses.Lord Audley's army had many local people in its ranks.Eardleys were certain to have been involved as the two families had close ties.I understand the site is well worth a visit and it gives some of us another option should we care tobe involved.
