Medieval Hog Roast

Following the Church service on Saturday there will be a special "Eardley" Hog Roast at Blore Heath Farm. Blore Heath Farm is one of the first sites of the Battle of the Roses and where Lord Audley was slain in 1495. There will be: Hog Roast, Clay Pigeon shooting, "The Name Shop" (tracing heritage), video display and talk on battle (also walk round battle field) long bow display and re-enactors available. Battle is re-enacted every September 24th and 25th. Tickets £10.00 per person and available from Hilton Hotel Reception (together with map) or contact: Richard Gibbins or Linda McDonald on 01782 618897. Tickets limited to 100 people only.
