A few details, mainly from David Buckman's Artists in Britain since 1945:
Enid Eardley 1916-1999
Enid Eardley was a painter, notable for portraits, who studied at Central School of Arts and Crafts in 1939, then in the mid-1960s with Stanley Grimm and Steven Spurrier. She was a member of the Society of Women Artists, exhibiting there from 1966 through to 1991, and had a series of solo exhibitions including Alpine Gallery in 1981. She also showed regularly with the Royal Society of British Artists at the Mall Galleries. She lived in Old Amersham, Bucks.
