Elizabeth and Anne Eardley

Elizabeth and Anne Eardley were the daughters of George Eardley of Bond County Illinois and he was born in England, as was his wife, Mary. He lived and died in Illinois. Elizabeth married my Grandfather and Anne married his brother my Great Uncle. Big news in the Edwardsville Intelligencer in 1915 regarding the fight over his money. Went down in history as super news for the day and time. Elizabeth. known as Susie Fairchild, died at the age of 99 years and 9 months and never admitted how old she was to anyone until her death. Anne died around 1910 or so and Charley never re=married. Susie took one of the sons and ran off with a traveling salesman in 1899. Left the one year old, Dewey, my father, with John and took 3 year old Clarence with her. They all got together in 1915 to fight over George's cash and property.
