The message board has been upgraded

We have upgraded the message board software to the latest version, and begun implementing some features designed to stem the flow of spam. We will be tweaking these settings over the next few weeks.

Specifically, we have started rejecting posts with certain key words or phrases, so if you go to post a message that contains one of these words or phrases, you will be taken to a screen that tells you this, and given the chance to change your wording and re-post your message. While we are testing, you may get a message that says:

Thanks for contributing!
Your post will appear in the index as soon as it's been approved by the moderator.

Don't worry if you see this, we are reviewing these messages daily, and we will alter your post or our key word block list as appropriate, and post your message. If you think we may have inadvertently blocked a word or phrase that we should not, please let us know via email to webmaster@eardley.org.
