Seeking info abt Thomas George? EARDLEY s/o Thomas(b.ca 1829 Silverdale, Staffs) & Elizabeth [MILNES?](b. ca 1829 Ferry Hill, Durham) EARDLEY. The younger Thomas was born ca 1867 - 1868 also in Silverdale. His known siblings (all older than he-some b Eng, some US) were Robert, Margt I?, George, Mary Ann, Anna Belle, Elisabeth, James, Margaret[again] and James T. During 1850's & part of 1860's family lived in US, ca 1864 -1871 part of family living at Knutton, Staffs. By 1880 back in US. Where or what is Silverdale? In US name sometimes spelled Herdley or Hurdley as well as Eardley. Family was supposed to be related to an Eardley in England who owned a pub. Are there ways of tracking pub ownerships? Thank you in advance for any tips or clues.
